Prodigious Hype Reel 2021
In 2021, I was asked to create another editing team promotional reel, working closely with the deputy head of production and two senior creatives. The focus this time was on crafting the most creative edit possible, with the goal of impressing new creative clients – hence the name hype reel!
This project involved sifting through a wealth of work from various clients and experimenting with different sequences of selects, refining them into a smooth, rhythmic piece. I concentrated on elevating my technique with eyetrace—ensuring that each shot transitioned seamlessly, guiding the viewer’s eye naturally across the screen. Additionally, I incorporated motion graphics plugins and glitch transitions to add a polished, dynamic feel. It was a rewarding challenge that pushed my creative editing skills further.
